Emaginos is the first company with an actionable plan to transform and improve public schools rather than replace them. The Emaginos model utilizes existing funding, facilities, and staff to improve educational approaches and outcomes, in many cases saving school districts money as they subscribe to and implement the Emaginos platform. Other companies are advocating eradication of public schools, pushing for charter schools and home schooling instead.
The Emaginos platform will be available to schools and districts on a subscription basis. Through this subscription service, all needed resources are provided to guide the schools and districts through their implementation of the Emaginos model, which transforms schools from the traditional “teaching and testing” approach to the more effective “learning and doing” approach that has been proven to result in significantly improved test scores and better overall student outcomes.
Rather than requiring more funding for participating schools, the Emaginos platform reduces costs; for instance, textbook and technology purchases are eliminated and management staffing costs are reduced, as well. Districts are able to implement the Emaginos model for the same total budget that they spent pre-Emaginos – or even less.
· There are 130,930 K-12 public schools in the U.S.
· Total public school enrollment: 50.8 Million
· Total public school teachers: 3.2 Million
· Total national public school expenditures: $612.7 billion
· Federal Budget: Public education represents 8.3% of total federal spending each year.
· State: On average, public education comprises 48% of annual state spending.
· Local: On average, public education comprises 44% of annual spending at the local level.
Emaginos has gained the support of both major U.S. teachers unions (AFT & NEA), which strengthens the company’s position as it moves forward toward widespread marketing and implementation of the Emaginos model in public schools throughout the United States.
Parents, teachers, administrators and, most importantly, students love the model that Emaginos is based on, which effectively improves outcomes and aids in producing confident, lifelong learners prepared to succeed.
While initial Emaginos startup costs are significant as the company develops the EdManage platform and its student-centered, multidisciplinary, textbook-free, learning team- and project-based curriculum, once these components are established, the ongoing costs of selling, delivering, and supporting the program thereafter will be relatively low.
Emaginos will receive ongoing revenue from the various participating school systems contracted to use the Emaginos model throughout the United States.
