Emaginos is the first company to transform the public schools, other companies are for charter schools and home schooling.
One of the first thing the founding fathers did, even before they declared independence, was to establish schools for the children. Schools are still a critical part of society today. As we struggle to cope with the many horrifying effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the major topics of concern is the role of public education. During this volatile economic period, nobody is discussing reducing funding for public education.
· There are 98,328 K-12 public schools
· Total public-school enrollment: 50,094,00
· Total public-school teachers: 3,109,101
· Total public-school expenditures: $607.8 billion
· Total funding of public education: $597,485,869.5 billion
· Federal: $75.99 billion (12.7% of total)
· State: $259.8 billion (43.5% of total)
· Local: $261.7 billion (43.8% of total)
With the support of both teachers unions (AFT & NEA) it will make it easy to transform public schools to the Emaginos model.
Parents, Teachers, Administrator's and most importantly the children love the Emaginos model where students test scores go through the roof.
Emaginos sells a subscription service that provides the resources required and leads a school district through a process that transforms the schools from traditional ‘teaching and testing’ to ‘learning and doing’ as centers of discovery and innovation. The services we provide become so essential to and ingrained into the school’s and district’s operations that they gladly pay their annual subscription cost.
Emaginos transformation service reduces costs in some areas, like no more textbooks, no more purchasing technology, less management staffing; resulting in the district being able to provide the Emaginos solution for the same total budget as the pre-Emaginos model. The district gets a much better result without any increase in spending.
Emaginos start-up costs are significant as we build the EdManage platform and student centered, multidisciplinary, textbook-free, learning-team, project-based curriculum. However, after the platform and curriculum are built, there is a relatively small incremental cost to sell, deliver, and support the program.
Emaginos intends to receive its revenue from the various school systems. As there is clearly a need for public schools, Emaginos will have an opportunity to generate revenue on an ongoing basis with those school systems that contract with Emaginos.
